Oh god, Chakotay/Seven pissed me off so much. I had totally forgotten about that! That pairing seemed to come out of absolutely nowhere.

Yup. I don't even ship either of them with anyone else, but they are just such a terrible pairing.

And so badly executed as well. Like, both actors were specifically told not to show their characters developing feelings. What?

What? I never knew that. What could possibly be the point of that!

No idea. But they did the holodeck episode where Seven was romanticizing holographic Chakotay. And then they were specifically told to go back to normal and not show anything. And then the characters actually got together. It was so stupid.

So stupid. I watched the show as it aired and have never rewatched, but I definitely remember being annoyed at that whole thing.
