I usually shower every day because I sweat a lot (especially when I sleep). There have been days where I skip a shower, usually on weekends where I feel overwhelmed and have nowhere to go.

I wash my hair 2-3 times a week so on days I don't wash my hair I have it up with a hair clip. If I don't want my hair/hairline to get even just a little moist, I have a shower cap to put over my hair.

It doesn't really matter what time of year it is, I generally shower every day. Took me a lot of years to work up routines that work for me though, my mid-20s was when I began to feel better about how I tackle my hygiene. Small wins for a CPTSD riddled nuerodivergent.
