i hate the "Littlefinger was trying to poison Tyrion's pie" theory because it encapsulates everything i think is wrong about fan theorists:

1) cares about "reality": had someone tell me that it would be too difficult to remove a gem-like poison inset in a hairnet as if that should matter in this type of story

2) ignores literary fore and post-shadowing: Tyrion first describing the wine as red and then after Joffrey drinks from it the last time, twice describing it as purple. Olenna's slightly out of character behavior. probably not just fun details.

3) assumes author omniscience: picking holes in the minor details like GRRM is going to realize all the plot holes. this man clearly doesn't care about all that.

s!b: I have some pretty crazy theories. I don't think I do all of this, but who knows what people think about me?
