I seem to have misunderstood an internet term and I'm too embarrassed to ask for clarification. I've always thought "absolute unit" refers to objects and beings who are very large or fat. But I've been seeing people in Rings of Power fandom say that they want Glorfindel on the show because "he's an absolute unit" and he just doesn't fit with the definition of the term as I understand it. But I don't want to make myself look like fool and ask about it.
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing a plus-sized elf kicking ass.
