I genuinely don't even remember when I first watched them - I know I went to the theatrical re-releases in 1997 (when I would have been about 7) but I think I'd already seen them before them.

My very earliest memory is of my dad reading the Hobbit to me. He was so thrilled to have a nerdy daughter. He was always excited to show me everything he loved.
