Yeah,I hear you. I still watch cdramas, but frequently I wish they could be better, for all those reasons. Silly comedy and cdramas that don't take themselves too seriously are more my thing. I appreciated that the two sisters in this drama were bffs despite being pitted against one another from birth, though.

Incidentally, I wish they'd kept the title of "Love When the Stars Fall" for this series. It just sounds better than "Starry Love", which makes no sense.

*squints at secret* OP, you might like The Murder in Kairoutei. Modern thriller, the lead is an older woman (and she's fab). Tightly plotted, good movement, interesting character dynamics. V. sensual.
