You hit the nail on the head. In the whole time I've been there, the sheer entitlement has been astounding. I think a lot of it had to do with the creator of the series used to be pretty active on Tumblr - which made it pretty easy for the most rancid of the fandom constantly hound him or attempt to hold him accountable for things that other people in the fandom had done (like they were mad that he wasn't telling the fandom what they should/shouldn't do so that they could quote his word being law).
