Using this journal just because - as someone who HAS been to Disneyland and has seen shows at the Hyperion: they usually have multiple show times per day (depending on the day/crowds but usually at least three, a morning, afternoon and evening/night showtime).

You WILL need a park ticket (in this case for Disney California Adventure Park, not Disneyland itself, unless you get a park hopper which allows you entrance to both parks) AND a reservation for the date you want to go - both of these things are reasonably easy to obtain via that same website: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/experience-updates/park-reservations/

Now, because this show is new (and I imagine will be popular because it is limited time) you'll definitely want to show up as early as possible, for previous shows they've allowed people into the queue about an hour before the start time, and for this there MAY be a fast pass/reservation system in place in which case you'd inquire at information basically as soon as you're through the front gates.

Hope this helps!

This is great info, but I'd recommend Studying the park's current system and making sure you know how you get into the musical itself, if it's a fast pass/reservation system or just wait in line or something new and absolutely be ready to do that thing as soon as you walk through the turnstile if necessary.

We went to Disneyland when the Revenge of the Sith ride was new without realizing how the system worked. (Basically if you weren't in the park and organized and got a space in the queue by 8:30, you were out of luck for doing that ride that day.) I don't think a musical would be as bad as a ride, but MCU is popular and summer is peak crowds.

Definitely download the Disneyland app on your phone and get familiar with it.

Not trying to scare you, but I was so grateful we were there multiple days and got tickets later on, because that would have been so frustrating to miss RotS for lack of reading the website.

And then do a secret and let us know how it was!

100% agree to all of this!

Since the musical isn't even going yet the info on the website is pretty slim (just that it's it's coming! Limited engagement!) but I'm sure that will change once it actually starts.

But yes! The app! It is a lifesaver, because (imo: unfortunately) most everything has to be done through the app as far as reservations for shows, and somehow that had completely slipped my mind in my earlier post.

But yes, absolutely not intended to scare anybody off! Go, have fun! Just be prepared.
