German shepherd people have told me that Hobo (or rather, London and his costars) have what is called "reverse mask" markings. So if a German shepherd is a suitable dog for you, there is no reason why you can't seek out a Hobo of your own!

And that would be a great idea because Hobo is indeed the goodest of good boys.

He's a beautiful boy! I've seen more Shepherd mixes that look similar than purebreds, but that's not a bad thing. GSD breeders have messed the purebreds up pretty badly at this point, honestly. They're sweet dogs, but they're also prone to being neurotic cancer factories, and the extreme conformation of most of the show dogs is... not compatible with happy doggo. If I was looking for another Shepherd, I'd probably either go with a mixed breed or one of the similar but less fiddled with breeds.
