erm... because we do? I was about to write something sarcastic here but you took the time and provided some names for wich I'm thankful.
Why did you include a trans man that didn't even compete against other men in your list?

(Anonymous) 2023-06-17 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)I mean all the respect for FtM athlets because they don't have an unfare advantage and their results are true. If only we had as many FtM athlets... For some weird reason there's almosr none. College level and some obscure walking competitions.

Unless... do we need to go all the way back to kindergarten to make sure you understand what words mean?

(Anonymous) 2023-06-19 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)See, sports are very harmful long term to the body. So most people don't get to play them professionally for very long. Professional sports is where you get money for playing. Sometimes it's as a team, and you get a wage. Sometimes it's as an individual and you compete for prize money and if you win, you're a professional. Once you start feeling the harm from long term sports, you retire. This means you no longer do the sport for wage or for prize money.
Chris Mosier is CURRENTLY is paid as a speaker. He did sports a lot for a long time, so he stopped doing it competitively because he felt the harm from long term sports.
When he did do sports competitively, he won prize money, making him... um... professional...
