No, I'm pretty sure the real gender essentialists are the ones claiming that liking pink, wearing dresses, and painting their toenails means they have a lady-brain.

Definitions of men and women either rest on biology or they rest on stereotypes that conflate gender with identity in an extremely narrow way, that tries to erase gender nonconformity and same sex attraction by claiming that butch women are "really" men and feminine men are "really" women. That's why a lot of feminists have a problem with it.
