Comment but not secret OP here and I'm not asking for input at all, I figure writing the non-physical aspects of sex is like writing the non-physical aspects of anything.

The emotions might actually be easier than the other non-physical bits, because I figure most people who have/like/want sex probably manage to fit the full gamut of human emotions into having sex, and I can extrapolate from how I write a character generally to how I write them in bed.

I'm just at a disadvantage because a) no personal experience and b) it's like practicing anything; I've written lots in general but hardly any sex scenes, so my first attempts are gonna kind of suck, if not outright blow (pun not intended.)

Fade-to-black is always your friend.

Write as much as is comfortable for you for that particular scene and then do the equivalent of cutting to a fire burning in a hearth or a surging ocean or, you know.

Works for me!

AYRT--oh, I don't want to write to my comfort zone in this case. I want to write in a "clearly this person wrote this one-handed," "hey OP, jsyk, I came" way. Because fuck AI, and not in a sexbot or Chuck Tingle kind of way.

Idk if chatbots can even extrude fade to black sex scenes, but if they can, all the more reason to break out the purple (and, indeed, pink and flushed and throbbing) prose. I don't even post my fanfic much of anywhere, and the few times I have it's been on anon.

But I just fucking loathe the idea of machine-learning taking over the fun creative parts of being human and leaving only the drudgery. Blech.
