Did that actually happen?

(Anonymous) 2023-06-30 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
I couldn't find anything about it. Could you point me toward the story? During a strike, writers are barred from pitching new projects, so it would be interesting to know which writers did this and if they are out of the WGA. It would also be interesting to know if the source has a vested interest in ending the strike.

Yeah, I was wanting to know this, too.

If that really happened then yeah, that's disgusting.

I can't find anything on this. Source, please?

I only heard about one Documentary that was being made/finish just about before we found out what happened to them, I don't remember where now thought, it was a popular one. Didn't hear of any other thought. But yeah, just that one is already pretty fucked.

The only one I remember hearing about was a BBC documentary, so it would've had nothing to do with the writer's strike.

Damn, this secret was made really fast!

irony

I didn’t think there had been any American productions about this yet. There are documentaries already and some were completed before they found the debris field but all the ones I know about are British productions.

only the US unions are on strike, btw, most US writers wouldn't do this because they'd be expelled from the union, so source or it didn't happen.
