Wasn't there at the time, so didn't watch it as a kid. But did watch it mostly blind, I think most deaths at the beginning at Autobot City/shuttle took me aback, I know they died, but didn't think it would go that way, Ironhide's is definitely the most memorable. Traumatized kids or not, it was cool, Elements of Destruction is a Decepticon anthem to me.

Also, I mean, I guess Starscream did make it out later, lol.
