I agree with the poster above that there is less economic opportunity than Texas, but if you can get a job then it's basically Texas' hat. There are less POC than Texas, due to being further from the border (not counting natives on the res), but just as much racism. Depending on where you live in Texas and where you'd move to in OK, it may be a bit cheaper to live in OK, but not by much. No good public transit, so even in the cities you need a car. So long as you pass as straight white christian the people will be vaguely nice. It may be just because I spent my teen years in a suburb of Tulsa and not the city proper, but the only real non-school/work social outlet was church, which was not fun for young atheist me. I've been gone long enough that I can't say if the social situation has gotten any better.
