Even before I saw the next secret I instantly thought of The Witcher. One of the reasons I didn’t want another live action adaptation is because I’ve seen shows and movies kill so many fandoms. But the fandom is still going strong because it did the one thing comms on LJ wouldn’t and tumblr couldn’t: they froze out the new fans. The message seemed to be let the show fans go off and enjoy their fandom and keep it away from our fandom. It’s worked beautifully tbh.
