I'm really liking the Wayfarers books by Becky Chambers. I shouldn't like them as much as I do, given that I was not expecting something low-stakes at all when I read the first one based on the summary. I thought it would be about a ragtag bunch of misfits saving planets from exploding and stopping wars and stuff like that, and that's much more my taste. Instead I got a ragtag bunch of misfits just living their lives in space, and loved it anyway.
