Uh, as far as I know, Jason Stryker has always been male. In X2, he has telepathic illusionary powers and appears as a little girl in other peoples' minds, but I thought that was just to appear as unthreatening and vulnerable as possible. His father sent Jason to the Xavier institute to be "cured" of his mutation and he came back angry and tortured both his parents with his illusions, causing his mother to commit suicide.
But the subtext of the scene with Bobby's parents in X2, Singer very much seemed to use being a mutant as a metaphor for being gay. So, I don't know.
