Wow, ugh. Sorry about that, anon. Yes, do look up tree law and do take action if you can because that’s just not okay. Maybe not now that you can’t move out or find another roommate but in the future for sure. And I hope you can find someone better who is willing to compromise too - also ughh that’s terribly expensive rent and here I thought rent in my city was bad
