It's been that long? Wow, doesn't seem it most of the time.

And though it wasn't my fave Trek, I did like it. I miss Trip and Reed and Phlox and T'Pol and Hoshi and all of them. 'Cept Archer when he's a prat.

It is my favorite of the series, and I am damned proud. Watching it on SciFi right now, as a matter of fact. I loved all the seasons. Enterprise was the most accessible, most realistic of any Trek. And the cast was smokin' hot!

I thought that first season was really good and one day I'll get the second season.

...I also read a lot of Enterprise fanfiction.

I loved Enterprise and people whose only grounds for disliking it are "canon" (which is almost all of them) are the people Nimoy was talking to Reuters about. (Take what Nimoy said on SNL and imagine how he'd phrase it differently if he were talking to Reuters, and you've pretty much got it.)

I don't hate it at all, I can't imagine why anyone would, that's just stupid.

I enjoyed it.

I loved Enterprise when it was on and never understood all the hate for it. Especially when VOYAGER has a fandom and got seven seasons, wtf. Talk about unfair. :/

I have a special love for Enterprise; I watched it with my dad when it was first airing, and it was the last time I've ever felt like we were actually father and daughter. I've watched the other installments, too, and I've enjoyed them all immensely, but none of them can touch Enterprise for that reason.

I hated Enterprise when it first came out but lately I've been watching it when I get home from work. At first I just turned it on to have something to listen to but as time went on I began really enjoying it. So I know it's not much but I have definitely given it a second chance.

It does take some getting used to...

I thought it was pretty bad as far as ST series goes, and you couldn't get me to watch it again for all the money in the world, but whatever, that's just my opinion (which admittedly doesn't count for much lol). Either way, it seems like you've got lots of fans who like it already from the look of those who've commented and that's always a good thing. ;)

Enterprise deserved a lot more love than it received.

Hey, I don't get the hate for ENT. It was WAY more interesting and had cooler characters than DS9 (which gets more love than I ever believed to be possible)

I thought I disliked it until I finally sat down to watch more than 5 or 10 minutes of a single episode. I really like it now and wish it was still on. I love the Andorians most of all.

I loved the first two seasons and despised season three, but I do agree that Enterprise was amazing and doesn't deserve the shit it gets. Also how did it get canceled when it was getting so good?! I'm still a little sulky.

It probably falls last in my Trek preferences, but I'm giving it a second chance and I've found it to be more entertaining the second time around.

Enterprise was the first Trek I saw (hopefully, it won't be the last one I see first-run :( ), and it got me into the rest of Trekdom when I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

But after watching TNG and especially DS9...I can see why the old time fans weren't impressed. Obviously, some complains about the show were just fucktardedly stupid (IE, the theme song, whining about the ship design being too modern--HELLO IT'S 2001, NOT 1966 SHITCOCKS) but by and large, the biggest problem was that there was so much untapped potential. Voyager had the same problem, except the ratings never dipped low enough for anyone to try and right the ship before it's run.

That being said, they did a damn good job with developing the Andorians and I liked seeing a different side of Vulcans than I knew of them to be.

As much as I hated Enterprise at times, there were a few interesting threads (the Andorians were awesome, I admit XD) and a few stellar episodes that make me wish they'd been given a bit more leeway. I mean, their third season actually DID shape up in comparison and in all seriousness, I don't think their first two seasons sucked as much as, say, TNG's first two seasons (or even Voyager's first two seasons, but a lot of Voyager sucked, so that point is moot).

I think the real problem with Enterprise is that the characterization was less than stellar. Sure, Voyager sucks but man, I kind of love the cast. They seemed to be going for a more mainstream, primetime "gritty" kind of writing with Enterprise but Star Trek works best when the characters ARE cartoonish- cartoonish in the sense that there's truth in exaggeration. Trek's most loved characters are always extremes: Spock, Data, Picard, Bones, Janeway, Seven, Garak, Worf, Quark, ect. ect.

And I do agree, "In a Mirror Darkly" might have actually been the best Mirror Universe episode the series put out.
