I didn't think I'd say this, because I was sceptical about Kirk being in the show buuuut... I want more Kirk. I want him to interact with all of the characters. Idek why beyond that it would entertain me.
queenslayerbee: Isabelle Adjany as Lucy Harker in 1979's "Nosferatu the Vampire". She's surrounded by darkness, looking over her shoulder while she wears a white nightgown and a cross as a necklace. A hand with long nails like a claw is reaching for her neck from the darkness behind her. (Default)

I'm lowkey curious about whether Shatner has said anything about Paul Wesley playing Kirk, given his comments when watching The Vampire Diaries' verse of all things. Not curious enough to log in on twitter after I deleted the cursed app from my phone but. Curious xD

I find the Kirk stuff tedious. I want more attention on the newer characters, not pulling in another old one. The backstory is boring. He feels shoe-horned in. It feels gratuitous.

Thanks for making my secret!

I'll add, since I hadn't seen the Uhura episode when I wrote the secret, that I love how empathetic he's being written here.

AOS Kirk was a bit of a cowboy; this is the kind of person Edith Keeler would fall for - I love that the showrunners are putting work into showing that character trait.
