I love Andor and Rogue One. I love them way more than any other Star Wars properties, because for me, they feel like the first Star Wars properties I can watch with my brain fully engaged, and come away totally satisfied.

But with that said...it just feels a bit arrogant and dickish to assume the detractors aren't that smart. Like, I get where you're coming from, I really do. It's hard for me to imagine not loving Andor, not appreciating the nuance, sensitivity, and maturity of S1.

But there are "smart" shows out there that just aren't my bag, for one reason or another.

But totally agree with not attacking people's intelligence just because they dislike something you think is terribly intellectually satisfying.
