Oh man, this. I spent lots of time reading ship manifestoes, and they were fascinating and wonderful. Some of the time I got new ships out of it, and sometimes I just got new insights into what other people enjoyed reading, but I always felt like I was learning.

Yup, there were ones that were so different from my own perspective of the ship that they made me question reality and they were still interesting to read.
