No idea what Apostle is but I must say I have a weird fascination with indie anime porn games. It's a whole universe I wasn't aware of until I decided to browse every discounted title during a Steam sale, and some of them even look kind of fun. Never bothered with downloading any of them (not downloading porn for my demographic much less these) but the way some indie creators found out that they could make a quick buck by making a mediocre-silly-fun game and adding anime boobs in itself blows my mind

For Steam, the two most common kinds of porn game are “Western-made het visual novel with uncanny valley 3D graphics” and “turn-based RPG with horrible monster rape made in RPG Maker and imported by a company called Kadokawa that seems to have very low quality standards.”

(anon with a fascination for those games) you are right about Kagura and the Western uncanny valley visual novels but you seem to have forgotten the entire segment of $0.50 strip mahjong and puzzle games lol

To the other anon who asked, yes it is basically just that. Score higher, get less clothes or maybe some hentai CG I don't know. That's what it looks like from the trailers at least. Some of them have great graphics, in their defense, particularly for their price. Which makes me think a lot of people buy these.

Your comment made me go and re-read the secret because honestly I just skimmed it because not my fandom. But...porn game is a whole new world to me. Little bit horrified, little bit fascinated.

Haven't played this game in particular, but have played porn games with similar graphics - the smut (and whatever plot there is) almost universally has better graphics. Plot is usually in visual novel style with character sprites and text boxes, smut ranges from halfway decent anime styled porn art to straight up animation. This looks like it's just the battle system.
