Not secret OP but man I wish my random "hey that sounds cool" actually got as far as even starting to learn how to do things. I mean, sometimes it does, but mostly I end up with a pile of craft supplies (not many instruments so far) and a lot of frustration.

If I do have ADHD, executive dysfunction regularly beats it up and steals its lunch money. But getting diagnosed requires executive function I don't have.

So congrats OP on your ability to follow weird whims where they take you!

Haha this was my train of thought too. Like "wait, do others with adhd actually get stuff started/finished?" That is not how mine works. If only all my random interests and impulses resulted in skills like learning a new instrument!

I get started and obsessed enough to learn a lot or get midway into a project. But it eventually falls off if I get distracted by something else. Whoops.

Maybe not ADHD but rather people in the manic phase of their cyclothymia?

Oh god, same. I get two seconds in to a new hobby and my brain's like "no it's hard idk what to do"
