Oh yeah, for sure. "What if this (Western canon) OTP but they're wearing kimono for new year's" (can't get it out of my head until I decide to speed-draw it to exorcise it). "What if this song from a video game but as a canon/round" (a week later I have learned how canons work and how to compose one and used MuseScore to make an arrangement).
