For me, thinking about the realities and technicalities is the fun! For clothes you could have the waistband cut in a V at the back but continued over the top so there's a little triangle for the tail to come out. You would sit the same way because you sit on your buttocks, and you could sleep on your back no problem, but I agree you could sleep on it and pull it like hair, but it might go numb and get pins and needles when you move it!

See I don't sit properly, I m always lounging in some odd way, and I think a tail would get in the way of that! Or maybe not. Maybe it's more bendy and forgiving at thr base than what I'm imagining.

It is fun to imagine the realities of it.
