I feel like he's actually the *least* likely person for this to be true about. Not for personality reasons! But genetically, Julian Bashir was never actually born, remember, he was remade out of Jules, and surely the people who did it would have recognized if they were working on their own handiwork! Surely they have some kind of checks and balances to make sure they don't accidentally turn someone into a clone of their own ancestor!

(It would certainly be an interesting twist on his genetics angst if he had to integrate his resentment over being genetically modified with the knowledge that he got the modified genes the old-fashioned way through a time paradox, though.)

If we are talking angst on a genetic level, then surely it should be O'brien it happens to. Because O'brien must suffer.
