That sounds like a general fandom issue of learning how to tune things out.

There are always going to be people in fandom who like different things from you, whatever it is you like, and 'tuning out' is a useful life skill. Good luck!

NAYRT - My OTP for the past five years has been a controversial one that attracts tons of antis, and I second AYRT's point about learning to tune stuff out and curate your experience.
