Tag wranglers need to do some work first. Those damn wall of text tags, I swear some fics have more tags than they do words of prose.

Pretty sure it's not the tag wrangler's fault if the author's judgement is as poor as that. I just scroll until I find people who can tag for what's important in their story. Would recommend, as a filtering technique, because someone who doesn't wrap their head around useful tagging probably hasn't understood the finer points of writing. And, as it's a huge archive, and I can generally find much better.
