OP - It's as the other anon said! Not sure if the translation on Novelupdates is better than the one on Novelhi though. Each has advantages and flaws.

It ... sounds like unlikely wish-fulfillment? If piles of other people were falling in love on video games and marrying millionaires and living happily ever after, there wouldn't be much point to writing fiction about it.

Which isn't to say you should keep reading something that's making you miserable, anon. But definitely don't let something like that make you feel like you're not as good as other people.

It's a lot easier to present the appearance that someone's life works the way other people think it should on paper than for that to actually mean, well, anything.
