What is everyone doing?

I got the house to myself so I'll be doing absolutely nothing different. xD Maybe take a longer Saturday nap than usual. I really wish the cool weather had been over the weekend instead of at the start of the week. Would have been nice to go on some long walks.

I HAVE to finish the bear I am crocheting soon. My sister got me 3 crochet kits for Christmas and I must finish one before the end of the year.

Trying to calm over the dental surgery I'm having on Monday.
Reading books.
Watching The Silent Sea on Netflix and The Weather Station on Amazon Prime.

What kind of surgery? I hope it goes well. 😬

A gingivectomy and some periodontal laser treatment.

Oh dear. Hopefully they give you some good pain meds if you need them.

If weighted blankets help calm you, maybe ask if they can spare one of the lead-lined aprons from the radiography department and let you wear it during the work.

That might make me feel trapped and claustrophobic.

Then obviously it's not for you. It sounds like regular weighted blankets may not be comfortable to you, for that matter.

Mom and I are seeing Barbie 3. Other than that, resting. Way behind on sleep.

Brunch on Saturday, street festival on Sunday, questioning my social skills now through Monday morning

Have fun with the brunch and street festival. The last thing doesn't seem as fun but I get it.

Recovering from my second massage therapy appointment. Just got back after a first attempt at my shoulders; it was torture and my vision is all woozy. Good thing I didn't drive myself! Tomorrow is gonna be a bitch.

Dang! What kind of massages are you getting?

I don't know if it has a name, but from my experience my therapist is basically doing a cross of physical therapy, sports, and deep tissue. I've had the spa kind of deep tissue massage. You're basically naked, and it's dark and there's oil and it feels great and relaxing.

This, though, is actual physical therapy via the muscles. Clothes stay on so no oil, it's light in the room, and she's physically separating muscles from each other (ow), and also holding pressure points (OW) while she moves body parts around, or asks me to move things around (OWWWWWWW). Today she basically vulcan neck pinched me and then asked me to turn my head. It was so fucking painful.

She warned me that I was going to be woozy and to be careful walking around because the muscles she dug into are the ones used to stabilize for the horizon for our eyes. She was not kidding.

I am about to go to bed so I can get up at the ass crack of dawn and go to work for five hours and then I have to leave and come home and then four hours later go back to the bowling alley right next to my work for my mother's birthday. then tomorrow morning more early work at a store I've never worked at before and then I have to take my cat to my sister's and then back to the same store on monday for the same shift and then I'm going to another city to visit a friend that's two hours and a time change away and I'm not coming back until thursday and I am going to be so damn tired omg

That is a busy weekend. I hope the store isn't too busy.
