Beautiful secret, anon. I always feel so nostalgic when I think of the Kokiri Forest, and even when I'm there in the game. I'm not really sure it's for my own sake (considering I wasn't that young when I first played the game, but I do remember watching my brother play it when I was young and wished he'd let me play because I thought the music and the setting were magical and exciting), or if it's more for Link's sake. I never finished the game (I suck at finishing games) so I'm not sure how it ends for him, but I remember how sad I was when he revisited the village as an adult, and how everyone told him they reminded him of a boy they used to know and that they wondered what had become of him. I wished he could tell them that it was him :(
