I finished both seasons of Good Omens last night, yes I'm late to the party but I kept putting s1 off because I suck at starting things, and now I have a hankering for fic. My problem is there's an absolute mountain of it and I have no idea where to start, so if anyone has any recs to help me find my way around I'd very much appreciate it.

I'm going to bed so I won't be able to reply, but thank you to anyone who can help me even a little. :)

ok fair warning, these are all based off s1 (i actually haven't gotten around to s2 yet and haven't read gomens fic for a hot minute lmao). that being said:

1) Demonology and the Tri-Phasic Model of Trauma: An Integrative Approach by Nnm (https://archiveofourown.org/works/20177950) - hands down THE best therapy fic i've ready in any fandom, it's just almost 100k words of a brilliant oc unpacking crowley, aziraphale, and her issues.
2) Parsley, Thyme, Sage, Daffodils by MostWeakHamlets (https://archiveofourown.org/works/20355304) - a "recovering from being essentially stalked for 6k years" fic. also a vlogger/youtuber au.
3) The Great Gig in the Sky by f0rt1ss1m0 (https://archiveofourown.org/works/20259199) - crawley tempts jesus. it doesn't go very well lmao
4) it's a new craze by attheborder (https://archiveofourown.org/works/20062966) - podcasters au? it's very cracky and very fun and very sweet
5) 5 Conversations Overheard in an English Village by chellefic (https://archiveofourown.org/works/20099053) - just a south downs cottage outsider pov fic lol, there are so many of these but this one's my favorite

This is more book than TV omens, except for the bits of TV that pop up in it... If you are into a SLOW burn or Crowley-tempting-Aziraphale-with-food-as-metaphor-for-sex, or you want something long to read, then this is the *slowest* burn, it is all about Aziraphale and Crowley meeting up first in Heaven and then through all of history and how they kind of learn to speak each other's language and understand each other, and like... how much they long for domesticity together!

seconding this rec SO HARD. I'm a big Dragon Age fan, especially of Iron Bull/anyone (he's a little black dress for me) but had literally never considered Cullen an option until I saw this fic come up in my search results once.

It's fucking amazing.

I don't remember what specific thing I was looking for (probably something kinky) but someone rec'd this and I was highly skeptical. In my experience 200k fics tend to be a mess, plus I had no knowledge of the fandom other than it was a video game I hadn't played. I am so glad I put that all aside and dove in. It is SO GOOD. I just reread it for the first time in a couple years and it is just as solid as I remembered.

I've poked around in the fandom a bit but I haven't found any other fics that click with me or are as good as this one. Feel free to drop some recs if you happen to come back and see this!
