oh wow. I'm from the spn fandom where anything is possible, that really sucks.

It's funny because all the recent events I saw about spn on Tumblr (circa last year, I'm more removed from fandom now) were deeeeefinitely elevating the fandom policing, which was... Something, given we're talking about spn. One said they only allowed 18+ participants and banned these adults from writing nsfw. Another person wanted to veto all ships and characters they deemed "undeserving" to be written about for a Christmas exchange.

There was a lot of virtue signalling too. Like, no one needs to hear a femslash/characters of colour centric event that doesn't allow gender or race swaps doesn't want people to make wincest content. They know xD

The one that truly annoyed me was an event for a rareship that claimed it wouldn't accept fanworks from "wincesters, wincest-adjacent people, and apologist". Like, not even "we don't accept this for this event" but "if you've ever breathed near this type of content or simply don't have issue with other people writing it, fuck you" aksjdkdjd xD

Not in the kinkmeme! Which has definitely slowed down but is its usual depraved self. idk what's happening on socials, because I curate and I'm getting the usual exchange message with barely any rules. yikes on bikes that rareship and for the tags which are probably a mess.
