honey, I AM just like her (obvs not as pretty, but you know). And if you were too, you'd get a truly unbelievable amount of guys you're into telling you "yeah, but you're not a girl" without getting the happy ending. Geeky girls really aren't girls to most of those guys, I can tell you this from a lifetime of experience.

THIS. I am that girl too (and again, not as pretty), and I don't get seen as a girl by geeky awesome guys. I get seen as one of the guys, which, you know, is okay, but I want to find "that guy" in a group of geeky awesome guys. *sigh*

Since I haven't actually watched the movie yet curse my epic fail at seeing when the movie finally exited Development Hell, I can't completely comment, but to go off the previous thread it annoys me to death when any geeky guys I like don't see me as an actual girl. :< I hope you find your perfect guy, OP.
