I only watch for Shino and Kabuto. I don't even bother with episodes they aren't in, tbh.

Kabuto rocks, he was my favorite before Sasori appeared.

There's quite a few characters that have kept me interested: Kabuto, Shikamaru, Kakashi, Sai, Sakura, Sasori and the rest of the Akatsuki. It definitely isn't the plotline...

The only volumes of the manga that I own are the ones Sasori appears in, though.

Edit: Actually I own the first couple of Japanese volumes as well, I just remembered.

Kakashi is the reason I liked the first episode I saw enough to tune back in and keep watching :D I really missed him when he wasn't in the episodes for a while, and I am sure glad he is back!
