I have no idea who that is, but she looks fucking awesome. I assume the only way I could find out more would be by reading comics...?

She is fucking awesome. You can read the Squire Wiki article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squire_(comics)) but it doesn't do her justice. You should check out Battle for the Cowl or the Island story line that Grant Morrison wrote.

Bother, I figured that'd be it. Comics are too complicated for me.

Maybe her parents thought the name Aquamarine was too ostentatious?

There are a lot of blue eyes out there. But Beryl is awesome.

Oh man I know. The one good thing to come out of the Didio/Morrison circle jerk that has become the Bat Books.

It's nice to talk to someone who loves Beryl as much as me. Berly-love seems rare in the comic circles. :(

I used to pick up almost all of the bat books, but i had to stop because I just lost interest/couldn't afford it. But I think now would be the best place to pick up, and the fact that I'm heading to Fan Expo is a great chance to pick them up.

It's nice to know that there are other Beryl lovers out there. I thought her and Tim were so fucking adorable and she completely stood out. That combined with the fact that J.H. Williams III (who was AMAZING in Desolation Jones) illustrated, it was a great story, minus the ending, which felt a little rushed. She needs more credit, and I'm so glad you agree :D

I did the exact same thing. I'm not so into Morrison's take on Batman. I much prefer Dini's.

She and Tim were amazing together. I'm hoping that she's his new love interest. Have you picked up Red Robin yet?

The beginning of Morrison's run was very "meh" to me. I picked up Detective because of Dini, and while I normally hate mystery, I absolutely ADORED Detective. I also got the chance to meet him and have him sign my copy of Mad Love, and he was nothing but gracious and humble when I rambled about how much of a fan I was lol.

I was secretly shipping the two of them and was greatly saddened by the lack of fic from such an adorable pair. I would write it myself but I haven't the patience lol. I haven't picked up Red Robin yet, but Tim has always been my favourite Robin so I am definitely planning on it. Is it any good? Do you figure that's where Beryl is showing up?

A ha ha, my grandmother was a blue-eyed redhead named Beryl. This feels a little odd.

It's a very common combination. But I agree, in comicsworld you'd expect a Beryl to have green eyes.
