I refuse to believe JKR would make such an "ugly" paint secret because her website is so pretty.

Of course now I wanna know and of course you won't tell me OP. But that's okay. If I wrote something and it had a fandom I'd probably secretly write fic for it too.

I'm guessing if this is real it has to be a mildly popular fandom like Mortal Instruments but it's probably not a rather unknown or widley known one... Who knows.

I kind of want it to be JKR though. No matter what people say about Fanfiction being better written than the books I'll always love the books more than any Fanfiction.

Mortal instruments? The books written by that hacky plagiarist? If so then I'd see why she'd keep it a secret.

Exactly. Didn't like the books either but with her Fanfiction history. I was also searching for something midly popular that people would know as an example. ;)

On the same subject, Christopher Paolini just popped into my head. The thought of CP writing slash fic highly amuses me.

Hated Eragon and I think from the way the author replied here it's seems like someone female to me. Maybe I'm just thinking that because most people in fandom are female and I don't know much about Paolini. He seems kinda too srs bsns to do something like that. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's SMeyer with Wide Awake XD

For better or worse, everything I ever read about CC on fandom_wank has convinced me not to get her books from store or library. I just can't get over the plagiarism thing; it makes my skin crawl as a writer. I'd probably avoid her stuff even if she were the next Hemingway, because there's more than enough books to read in the world. I don't know if this is fair given that I personally will never truly know the validity of her guilt or innocence, but what I saw was enough to put me off.

Honestly, she'd have had a lot better chances of my reading her by accident if she'd published under a different name.
