Lol no, SMeyer had a coniption fit about fanfiction when the ficers were getting Edward all wrong. (I don't see what was so hard about writing a boring, cardboard cut-out with hair) It's what prompted her to write the now dead Midnight Sun

I can't find the exact quote, but basically she was asked in an interview what she thought of fanfiction. She then said it upset her because the fans didn't *get* Edward. It's what then prompted her to write Midnight Sun, so she could help her fans *get* (lol) his character. Of course she dropped MS because it was leaked online (Some say by RPattz, awesome anti that he is)

You know what takes the cake though? She told her fans that she might finish MS if they don't mention it for a few years. I kind of feel sorry for them.
