Well, I'm not saying that Matt is a boy scout, that's for sure. But the fact of the matter is, you play in the mud, don't be surprised when you don't come out clean. Particularly in wrestling, where smarts and marks alike can easily access backstage info now, thanks to the internet. Even if Matt hadn't had opened his fat mouth (and never friggin' stopped. GOOD LORD), reports of the cheating would've surfaced quickly enough. And, even back when I was in the fandom and we were strangely hippie like in our love for people, she would've been raked across the coals. There's a reason Sable was being booed by fans, even when she was still being presented as a face.

oh, i totally agree with that about playing in the mud & didn't think you were defending matt - just pointing out what i thought the op meant. :)

you are very right about info being so readily available for this fandom; it's actually kinda scary. of course, i am sure 90% of it isn't true, or is only half true i am sure that it would have come out eventually seeing as she was dating edge, but maybe had it not been so dramatized by matt it wouldn't have become as big of a deal on tv?

who knows... it's not like we can go back and find out.

and lol @ the "and never friggin' stopped." i swear i felt like "jesus matt, we got it the first hundred times: she cheated and you're heartbroken. time to move on."
