Paimon always reminds me of Tama from World of Final Fantasy, another annoying creature that would have been more useful as rations.

To be honest I love Paimon so much, she is my spirit animal. This is my secret.
Having said this I play in japanese so maybe this is why she doesn't annoy me at all - on the contrary, she is just a cute mascot I want to tease and protect.

She's mildly annoying in other languages as well I guess but much more on the cutesy mascot side (which is something you either like or don't). But the English version is simply ear-piercingly atrocious.

I listen to podcasts or ebooks or YouTube while playing Genshin so that's my problem solved.

She became better re her script and makes somewhat smart remarks. Also try her in Serenitea, also cute. Also those mustache and glasses.
I'm more annoyed at Traveler atm... Have been since Inazuma because I disagree with her or his choices.
Chinese Paimon is the only softspoken one so idg why single out Eng.
