I had the inverse reaction the other day, when I randomly watched Porky in Wackyland and Dough for the Do-Do (basically the same cartoon, but in colour and with a different (but thematically similar) ending)...

The reward for catching the last Do-Do was $6,000,000,000,000. In 1938/1949. Even in 2023, that is an ABSURD amount, stretching things even for a cartoon. I can't even imaging how unfathomable it was at the tail end of the Depression.
