Cutting out a close friend who I've been too much of a people-pleaser with, and along with her constantly taking advantage of that - she usually ignores my messages for weeks and only contacts me when her other friends won't listen to her or she wants someone to go with her to the store. Nearly cut her off just before covid, but she had suddenly started communicating more; admitted that she hadn't been a good friend and was making changes for the better. Now its gone back to before and I can't be bothered with her any more.

Hugs. I've been there before and it sucks, but it was a really important step for me in setting personal boundaries. Good for you!
