No idea of the reference but I feel you on the shoehorned romances in action movies. Just leave them out, Hollywood. I promise nobody's dick will fall off.

Man, this. So very sick of random guy/girl 'romance' that happens because they are in the same spot geographically and pass two sentences. Not only ridiculous, but boring and pointless.

Lol! I refer to these types of romances as Obligatory Het Ships, and yes, they bug the hell out of me too. I have nothing against het ships, or canonical ships, but so many of the ones that make it to the screen are just. so bland.
