Nick Fury was interesting and likeable in both CA:TWS and Captain Marvel, which makes it so sad what was done to him in Secret Invasion. I get that he's a broken old man now, but he doesn't get an arc that takes him away from that. He lets people down, some more sad things happen to him, and then the show ends. The whole story seems pointless.
