I've been revisiting Steam Powered Giraffe for nostalgic reasons and finding out that there's been new music since I last listened to them.

Still re-listening to Fire Fire, Soliton and Hold Me from The Vice Quadrant album.
Also liking songs from their new album (1896), particularly Shattered Stars and Hot on the Trail.

I am sorry, going to hijack this comment for a rant.
I wasn't especially into SPG. I knew couple of their songs, that they are committed to a bit and that their bandmates change sometimes.
Then I've got a bit more into them and was taken a back when people talked about twins. I was like what twins??Joked a bit on twitter how awful I am with faces that I never noticed twins and that "new" girl wasn't exactly new.
My now ex-friend was absolutely condescending about this fact. It's been couple of years and I still get annoyed about it when I listen to SPG. *sighs*

I've been listening to GUTS by Olivia Rodrigo the last couple days. It's pretty good. Pop isnt my primary genre of choice, but her music has a lot of personality. I like the slightly noisy, messy edge to it, and the way it toggles seamlessly between bleeding-heart dramatics and the sardonically blase.

Stray Kidz. I resisted a LOT of K-Pop but these 4th Gem boy bands are fucking AMAZING.
