Saaame. I swear I just keep refreshing the live action AO3 page in the hope of new fics. Everyone had such great chemistry with each other. (Except for Zoro/Sanji. Loved the interactions in the show, still can't ship it. It remains the one ship that fits my tastes on paper
but just leaves me cold.)

Any recs? I've looked but haven't found any fanworks that really gripped me yet. Maybe I've just never been this early in a fandom but it feels as though fanworks for the show are coming out kind of slow?

I never shipped Zosan or zolu when I was into One Piece about a decade and a half ago, but what I did ship was sanuso/zosopp and that had a small following on lj. I always go for the small time ships.

I was shipping Nami with Zoro back in the day, based just on the vibes alone and what very little personal interactions they have, but OPLA is giving me a feast with this old ship! the NOT YOUR CREW said at the same time? the BECAUSE UR MY FRIEND U IDIOT? That scene when Zoro wakes up and Luffy jumps on him, *straddles him* and yells in his face from joy and hugs him made my cold, jaded heart grow three sizes.

And then the Zoro/Sanji beef apparently starts in the LA because Zoro is jealous of Sanji joining the crew????

I low-key ship Nami and Zoro in the original because I just love their dynamic so much. The live action provides a different dynamic that apparently, I ship even more. I can't get over how much I love the characters and relationship dynamics in the LA.
