Re: Youtube list channels
(Anonymous) 2023-09-21 12:20 am (UTC)(link)Then there's everything in the Liberal Redneck universe. There are four main hosts, who are liberal comedians from various southern states. There are three different main shows with various combinations of the hosts (occasionally they switch it up or have other friends join them).
There's WellRed, which is about whatever random topics they feel like talking about. I don't watch that one as often because they frequently talk about sports, which I have no interest in. Then there's Weekly Skews, which is about mainly politics. They're both on the same channel, here: https://www.youtube.com/@TraeCrowderLiberalRedneck/videos
Then there's Puttin On Airs (which has its own channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@PuttinOnAirsPodcast/videos), which started with the concept that half the show is about the various topics where "fancy" rich people and rednecks overlap, and then the other stuff is some historical topic with at least a tenuous link to something "fancy". But over time it's kind of evolved into anything even tangentially relating to "fancy" or "redneck" topics (a lot of making fun of the crazy things rich people do, and stories of the hosts' childhood/young adulthood in Tennesee and Georgia).
Then there's a podcast I've been listening to for the past couple months called Beach Too Sandy Water Too Wet, where they read weird/crazy reviews of various places/products, which is usually hilarious. I listen to the audio version, but I know they have a YouTube channel too, although I haven't watched it.
...Actually, I just looked it up and there are only a small handful of videos, but the rec still stands in case you have any interest in podcasts, too!
And one final rec, which isn't YouTube, so feel free to ignore it, but they're super entertaining videos. It's a chef who reacts to videos of people making crazy/awful food concoctions, and it's super entertaining: https://twitter.com/ChefReactions. He has a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@chefreactions/videos) but it's mainly longer, vloggy-style videos, which aren't as interesting to me. I'm not usually into super short videos, but to me, those are the best/most entertaining ones of his, and they're on Twitter.
