But this young woman PLAYS this character. So if she can't find interesting things about her character she is probably going to be flat and uninteresting as Snow White. Or at least she could have pretend because she is an actor and it's her job.

That absolutely doesn't follow at all. You can absolutely do a good job at acting a character that you don't care one whit about. YOU care about the character, that's fine. But there's no reason on earth an actor should have to. That's what the craft and the talent and the skill of acting is for.

Or at least she could have pretend because she is an actor and it's her job.

To the extent that it's a part of her job, it's a part of her job because of people like you who care about it for some utterly unfathomable reason.

If you simply stopped caring about it, it wouldn't be.

Yet again. I really don't care either way, I am not into Disney remakes and I am not into Snow White. But it's her job. Yes, it includes interviews. Is it shitty that actors need to do it? Probably. I hope they get money for that. Am I going to think that she is unprofessional? Yes

Dunno. I feel like this also has the potential to make Snow White into a borderline antagonist in her own story. I'd be down for that.

She's not playing the 1937 Snow. That's the character the criticism is aimed at. The point is they're updating her into a more dynamic and interesting character, and it is clear Rachel Zegler is proud of this version.
